SpagoBI Analytical Appliance offers a complete and preconfigured analytical environment, distributed as a virtual appliance, which combines a SpagoBI Suite Server module, one of the most suitable and reliable operating systems and some of the most adopted open source RDBMS. The Appliance is available now for some of the main 2.x versions of SpagoBI. It is based on SUSE SLES 11 and realised through Novell SuSE Studio.
At present, the following two versions are available:

* SpagoBI Analytical Appliance for MySQL, integrating SpagoBI Server 2.3 and MySQL 5.0

* SpagoBI Analytical Appliance for Ingres, integrating SpagoBI 2.4 and Ingres Database 9.3


Compared to the Bundle, the Appliance also offers the robustness and reliability that are usually provided by common enterprise-level software. At the same time, it improves and simplifies the process to preset the operating environment to start Business Intelligence projects, considerably reducing the setup time.
