OCELOT stands for Open Collaborative Environment for the Leverage of Online insTrumentation (OCELOT). It is both a middleware (based on JOnAS and JORAM) that also provides a framework to build interactive mixed reality multimedia. OCELOT provides a set of features in order to make a remote scene that is filmed thanks to an IP camera to become interactive. Basically, when the user clicks in an area of the video being played, he performs actions to the real scene at distance. A primary use case of OCELOT is remote laboratories for engineering education (yet OCELOT is agnosticism to this use case). OCELOT 0.1 is licensed in LGPL.
