Detailed description: According to the second paragraph of http://www.w3.org/TR/xforms11/#fn-instance
, instance() can be called with no arguments. In that case, it works just like
instance('').

Nathan, good call. However we recommend you post issues in
ops-users first instead of just entering bugs here, as we
may well miss those.
